The study is created by eHealthMe based on reports of 238 people who take Amlodipine besylate and Hyzaar from the FDA, and is updated regularly. The baseline differences in categoric variables were assessed with Cochran‐Mantel‐Haenszel chi‐square tests, adjusted for site. 12.5 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg tablets; 12.5 mg capsules; Dosing. Adverse events were consistent with the safety profile of each drug. Of the 218 patients who received amlodipine, 126 (57.8%) patients experienced at least one adverse event (of any causality). For ambulatory blood pressure, hourly means, calculated by averaging all valid readings taken from “on the hour” to 59 minutes into the hour, were analyzed using a similar ANOVA model as described above.
