I have 2U2. My question is, were those women, or you if it happened to you, taking the pill at the EXACT same time every single day? Haven't had any babies at all. The mini pill is much less convenient.There are many side effects that the mini pill has too. I currently take the progestogen only mini pill, micronor, and wondered if any mumsnet members have had pregnancy scares while taking this. I'd blow up from the smallest provocation. The pill reduces that chances of pregnancy from the pullout method but there's still a chance of pregnancy while on the pill because the only fool proof method is abstinence. Obviously stay cautious and do what makes you feel comfortable, but this isn't a representation of the proportion of women who conceive while using contraception.I'm panicking too, always take the pill, 2/24 not on time, ALWAYS use condoms and check them after for possible breakage or little holes. I know the pill isn't 100% protection and can be impacted by user error, and so has anyone here become pregnant while taking the pill. I thought it was like a "make up" period or something since I didn't have one for 4 months. I still had periods/bleeding every 28 days. Seems development of POPs has not progressed, seems companies want to spin a new combo and cash in.Is there something I'm missing about the minipill that would explain why it isn't massively popular?The pill's biggest selling point is convenience. I’m completely shell shocked and I don’t know how to telll my other half as I think he will think I’ve done it deliberately, which I haven’t. It usually makes acne worse, so if you have oily skin or break out badly, it's going to most likely make it worse.
