I recommend it to everyone like I'm in a damn birth control ad. My skin loves it- but I heard it can dry up your skin. Also: This might sound stupid, but if there's a SO involved, it helps tremendously to just talk about the possibility of your skin getting worse. I loved having no periods but I had such bad hormonal acne, but now a week later I don't even have one spot.

Not super high, we are talking 130ish/90ish. My periods were regular.My emotional side effects...eesh. Oil cleansing with coconut oil lead straight to cystic acne, and then I gave up. Without birth control I have cystic acne all over my cheeks.
I also find tea tree oil works great as a spot treatment in between masking. Certain birth control pills contain hormones that can help reduce or eliminate acne.
