My doctor put me on mood stabilizes cause I was irritable from the effexor and then after she told me that I might need to increase my effexor to 150 MG if the mood stabilizes don't work. Just curious how long it takes on this medication before you really begin to feel a difference. Using an NSAID with venlafaxine may cause you to bruise or bleed easily.Avoid driving or hazardous activity until you know how this medicine will affect you. The norepiniphrine part kicks in around 150 and up. I couldn’t sleep and had lost 20 kgs.
I gave this medication a chance, I tried to, I took it for about 2 months. The peach capsule on the right with the "W" on it looks pretty much identical to the brand-name 75 mg capsule, so I would go for whatever brand that is if I were you, but that's just because I personally did much better on brand-name Effexor XR than the generic venlafaxine ER.
