I'm so pleased to hear that so many people find taking Omiprazole and statins to be quite okay. The Omeprazole definitely improves my QOL and I've taken it with statins and flecainide since the beginning with no real side effects. I no longer take aspirin and have Edoxaban instead which may help reduce stomach acid. I have paroxysmal AFib and have after it being suggested by two cardiologists that I take statins and anticoagulants started on Atorvastatin 20mg and Edoxaban 30mg.
What I also realised that eating carbs, especially bread, biscuits, cake & cereal made things a lot worse. Drug interactions are reported among people who take Omeprazole and Lipitor together. Pradaxa is well known for causing acid reflux.
