I went back to Ortho Tri-Cyclen; by this time there was the generic available, and honestly, I didn't notice any major differences between the brand name and generic in this case. My insurance carrier (United Healthcare at the time) was able to explain it to me. Ortho Tri-Cyclen has multiple generic alternatives you can choose from if you can't afford the brand-name pill. So there - people sometimes *do* report no problems!
