But so happy for you now that it’s back to normal.

Side effects vary by person, and aside from the acne (which others my find tolerable), I had …

Despite that, I would still recommend Kyleena to others. I still kind of get a period, which is basically spotting for a few days. Again, I love it. The cramps were horrible. as reasons you would be unhappy with your Kyleena vs. acne. Also: not saying this is your case at all or will be your case, but I do just want to make a side note about something on that end.

Thanks again :)Yes I echo these sentiments.

There are still far more of them than I have ever had, but hopefully, it will get better with time and the new routine?-- Periods: My 1st and 2nd periods have been markedly lighter. I love my IUD (I have a Mirena)! I will caveat that with a side effect of the IUD, acne, has had more of an impact on my mental health than the IUD itself. I stopped taking spiro about three months ago and started really getting into skincare and my routine, but I'm still breaking out a lot. Seems to last the same amount of days so far and still be fairly regular.-- Unpleasant smell: This comes and goes - it's gotten better compared to what it was the first few weeks post-insertion, but I still notice it occasionally.-- Weight: I didn't notice this initially b/c I was traveling a lot my first month of insertion, but I seem to be more permanently bloated/retaining water rather than just around the time of my period? Hope this helps - feel free to ask any questions!Honestly, no - I haven't had any foreign body object sensation similar to when you don't put a tampon up high enough. The ~15 mins of bad cramping and short while of mild cramping is 100% worth it for the years of worry-free protection and better periods, though. I’m crossing my fingers that since I’ve already been through that, hopefully nothing (or barely nothing) will happen with the IUD! I got Kyleena about a week ago and I’ve recently noticed these little white heads pop up in random places on my face neck and a few on my chest, they aren’t really noticeable to anyone but me, but it is bothering me. After a few months of the breakouts they are now totally gone and my skin is fully back to normal! It was really bad times.

I've got depression/PMDD and am scheduled to have kyleena placed in a month.

Side effects!? I was never in pain or had cramps beyond insertion (and the day or 2 after) so I can't speak to that. The acne, on the other hand, is now a deal breaker for me, unfortunately. This is what I did and I didn't even think about that as a possibility!I’ve had my kyleena in for over a year now, and the only real symptom I’ve dealt with is having no more period (yay!). My provider mentioned it would likely go away on its own, and in addition, cysts are mentioned as side effects of IUDs but that they are very rarely problematic (as in do not disappear on their own and require surgery). I recommend SA cleansers and a good glycolic acid toner, I also used a lactic acid serum to help with the inevitable scarring I faced. There were a handful of days without any, but never predictable enough to stop wearing a liner. Still had minor breakouts but no cystic acne. I went to the doctor for a one month check up a while ago and he found a ovarian cyst that wasn't there before the insertion.

Kyleena is a small IUD, so it's not going to be as bad as the full sized(?)

Side effects vary by person, and aside from the acne (which others my find tolerable), I had no other issues with it truly. Hope the spotting tapers off soon, but I knew to expect this. You seem to have done your research and i was wondering what you've read so far about this?Apologies for the delayed response - this my IUD-only account so I don't log in very frequently.

Do you still have it?
